Bubba Sparxxx, watch out. Cause country rap just got a new voice.
Hooligan reps provincial Kazakhstan in this masterful ode to his peripheral roots, «Я провинциален» ("I'm Country").

Not bad. How is it that a country boy in Kazakhstan gets the essence of rap better than urban Russians? There's no bling here. No 'bithces.' He samples a popular song (Stairway... Zepplin.. NOT denied) and talks about his life hardships. And there's no attempt at Russifying it with accordions or other folk instruments.
Location, location, location.
Yes! I'm starting to look forward to Russian Rap Fridays! Hooligan begins a little shaky on this one, but picks up his game when the flutes come in. As we all should...
I think the flutes must have helped calm him down. The kid does really need to learn how to breathe, and maybe something less wing-flapping-like to do with his arms. But I hope he never loses his sensibilities.
Glad folks enjoy the RRF.
Ah, yes...The MC's dilemma: what to do with those arms! I'd also like to see him incorporate the squat pose into his performance repertoire. It's already featured in the film clips!
